Image Comics
In 1992, seven comic book artists whose work had earned them significant notoriety at Marvel or DC announced the formation of Image Comics. Among them were Todd McFarlane (Spider-Man), Jim Lee (X-Men), Liefeld (The Savage Dragon), Marc Silvestri (Witchblade), Whilce Portacio (Swamp Thing) and Erik Larsen (Stormwatch). These were the initial co-founders of Image, a company known for its creator-owned books that would sell in huge numbers. Unlike other publishers at the time, the Image partners used their studios to publish work by independent creators, giving them complete creative control and rights ownership of their series. This helped to bring many new titles to the market, including the Eisner Award-winning series Astro City by Kurt Busiek and Brent Anderson. After the slump of the early 2000s, the partners recommitted to their original vision. Image began to focus on a broader range of creator-owned series that grew to include Chew, Fatale, Morning Glories, and more. In addition, the company also launched a new imprint called Cliffhanger to publish famous commercial and critically acclaimed works.

He also can destroy mutated animals and people with his mind.
